Lane guarantees victory vs. Texas Tech

Texas A&M hasn’t won at Texas Tech since 1993. The Lubbock jinx is very much real, and a bunch of Aggies were asked about it at today’s news conference. Running back Jorvorskie Lane wasn’t putting up with any of that, though.
“We’re going to win in 2007,” Lane said. “That’s a guarantee. I promise you.”
Lane was then asked why he feels that way.
“It’s just that our team’s chemistry is so strong right now, ain’t nothing can break us,” the J-Train added. “From what we went through with that situation with Coach Fran and we were down 17 points last week [against Oklahoma State], it’s just a real big motivating thing right now.”
That was probably the biggest thing to come out of a rather mundane news conference inside Hagner Auditorium. It was thought that A&M might announce the results of its investigation into the "VIP Connection" today. But no.
A&M officials have made it clear they want to get each and every e-mail that was sent out over the last three years. School officials probably want to cross every t and dot every i before making an announcement.
