Saturday's Game to be a national broadcast

LUBBOCK, Texas - ESPN and ABC Sports has announced that Saturday evening’s game between Texas Tech and No. 3 Oklahoma will be shown live to the entire country. The two teams kickoff in the primetime spot on ABC at 7 p.m. (CT). Saturday’s game will be available in all ABC markets regardless of whether customers subcribe to cable systems and it will make it the largest single viewed game in the Mike Leach era. Texas Tech has played nationally televised games under Coach Leach on cable systems such as ESPN, FSN, TBS and the NFL Network but never a nationally televised game on ABC Sports.

As of Thursday morning, only a few hundred tickets remained for Saturday’s game and can be purchased through the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office at (806) 742-TECH
